The Way Of Freedom

This is the true story of two men who bravely chose death or freedom, crossing the most dangerous communist border at that time, The Danube River. Knowing that if trying to escape that time, over 90% meaning sure death, but the dream of freedom was stronger than the fear of death! Once on the other side of the river, escaping again, this time from an Yugoslavian jail and surviving over a month in the mountains, with no food, no warm clothes and not even a knife, walking over 1000 km to freedom... to Greece. Many years ago, by chance, I was invited to a Chinese movie celebrity house here in Vancouver, Canada. We lost contact because meanwhile he moved back to Hong Kong. Then, not knowing him, he asked me about my background and how I came to Canada. I told him my adventure, and he demanded me to write down all this into a book, as it is also a good movie scenario, being based on a true story. Read more
