Remodel Pros Inc. is a full-service corporation and self performs the majority of work undertaken with minimal use of outside subcontractors. We are searching for individuals who learn quickly, are punctual, have a strong attention to detail, understand and follow instructions as well as communicate effectively with managers and peers.
Our Company (based out of Atascadero) currently has projects underway from San Luis Obispo up to north Paso Robles, as well as multiple projects along the coastal communities of the Central Coast. The work will expose hired personnel to all facets of residential and commercial construction.
Currently we have immediate full-time positions available for:
- Plumber
- Roofer
- Tile setter
- Window installer
- Painter / Drywall Repair
- Framer / Finish Carpenter
- General laborer / project clean-up
- Concrete set-up / finish with operation of small equipment
- Persons with general construction knowledge in multiple trades
Many of our current employees have mastered a certain trade but have also learned to assist other co-workers on other trades based on whatever project we are currently working on. Over the years, these employees have broadened their knowledge into all phases of construction. All applicants will be considered and we are an equal opportunity employer. Wage rates vary based on experience (average $17- $30 per hour). Reviews performed every six months for performance as well as rewarding wage increases. Reliable transportation to and from job-site is required.
Job Skills:
- Prefer 2 years construction experience, but all candidates considered
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Learn quickly and adapts to new problems and situations
- Ability to present oneself with professional appearance and behavior
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively with management and co-workers, both written and verbally
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing desired results
Work Environment:
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, push, reach above the shoulder, grasp, pull, bend repeatedly, climb stairs and ladders, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Conditions include working on interior and exterior of structures
- Working around moving objects, moving vehicles and machines with moving parts
- Working closely with others and working alone
- Working with equipment (machines, tools, devices) used in performing the essential job function include but are not limited to hand tools, power tools, and air tools
- Ability to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to, safety glasses and gloves
- Ability to work 40 hours per week
